MICHELIN Green Guide unveiled earlier this month the first-ever “Singapore” travel edition. Four of the Lion City’s attractions received the most famous grade, the Michelin three stars rating: Botanical Gardens, Singapore Zoological Gardens, Night Safari and Raffles Hotel. In addition, 34 attractions received two stars and 56 one star are listed in the justreleased Singapore edition.
The Michelin Green Guide allows travellers to see at a glance a destination’s most outstanding attractions, thanks to a “star” rating. Ratings correspond to a site’s interest for tourists and are defined for the readers as: three stars Highly Recommended; two stars Recommended; and one star Interesting. The guides also provide readers with reliable, up-to-date information about a country, a region or a city as well as immediately reveal the secrets to a successful stay and make travelling easier and more enjoyable.
Michelin’s local writers have walked, driven, visited, slept, shopped and eaten through every tour, sight, hotel, restaurant, boutique, café and venue in this guide. Where they have stepped, travellers won’t put a foot wrong. The 288-page Green Guide Singapore is meticulously updated and beautifully illustrated with full-color photographs, scores of Michelin maps, and insider coverage of shopping, nightlife, accommodations and restaurants. The “starred” attractions can be seen at a glance on a general map of the destination inside the front cover.
