Hanoi to host CPTA conference

HANOI – This city will host the seventh annual conference of the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia (CPTA) from October 5 to10.

The conference, part of the Asian Network of Major Cities 21, is held in rotation within the member cities of Hanoi, Bangkok, New Delhi, Taipei, Seoul, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo.

During the six-day conference, participants will review the work set at the previous conference and adopt an action plan for new projects, propose solutions to develop tourism in member cities as well as organise promotional and advertising activities to attract tourists to Asian cities including Hanoi.

The conference will also boost cooperation among member cities and advertise their tourism potentials and services.
