TOKYO –JATA World Tourism Congress & World Travel Fair (JATA-WTF), one of the largest international travel fairs in Asia, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from September 18 to 21. The event will showcase suppliers from over 134 countries and regions.
JATA WTF held annually since 2003, is comprised of two complementary events- a travel congress and an exhibition. The World Tourism Congress is a marketing conference structured around a key theme in travel and tourism. JATA World Travel Fair is both a trade show and a consumer travel fair. The fair will aim to stimulate Japanese travel demand and launch new travel trends.
JATA World Tourism Congress 2008 will have the theme, Discovering New Strategies from Asia’s Travel Boom, and will feature discussions on the direction of the Asian and Japanese markets in the near future, taking into account the global market environment.
